Windows Users

Download the Data Editor software file from the CASIO website to your computer.

Uncompress the file.

This will create a folder named “CASIO DataEditor for XW-P1” (or “CASIO DataEditor for XW-G1”) on your computer.

Mac Users

Download the Data Editor software file from the CASIO website to your computer.

Open the file.

This will create an image named “CASIO DataEditor for XW-P1” (or “CASIO DataEditor for XW-G1”).

Copy the image to the application folder.

Windows Users

On the Instrument, select the Performance Mode, Tone Mode, or Step Sequencer Mode.

Data transfer and data delete cannot be performed when the Instrument is in any other mode.

Quit all other applications running on your computer.

Data Editor will not run correctly if any other application is running on your computer.

Double-click the “CASIO DataEditor for XW-P1” (or “CASIO DataEditor for XW-G1”) folder.

Inside the folder, double-click “DataEditorP1.exe” (or “DataEditorG1.exe”).

This will start up Data Editor.

Mac Users
