Example 1: To convert a nominal interest rate (APR) to

an effective interest rate (EFF)

1. Input the number of annual compoundings (

n) and

interest rate (

I) values from the Setting Values table

above.

• For this example, use

fc to select 1 “

2. Select the value you want to calculate.
